These are the facts and the title of the article is disingenuous. The bottom line is the Chip and Joanna donated to his sisters run for the local school board. As a part of the normal election process candidates typically share their thoughts on current issues and given the current nationwide discussions about it every day it seems natural for it to be a part of the discussion.
